Abstract
Additional contributions are made to the taxonomy of Philippine oribatids including the descriptions of three new species of Phyllhermannia (Hermanniidae) abnely, P. benguetana, P. maganda, and P. polilloensis. Four species are also recorded for the first time in the country, viz., Cerostocepheus trisetosus Balogh (Otocepheidae) and Nasozetes sumantrensis Sellnick, Tuberemaeus formosanus Tseng and T. sculpturatus Mahunka (Hemileidae). The island distribution of 10 other species is extended with the identification of more materials from various parts of the country.
