Abstract
Ten species of arthropod pests of Jatrophas curcas were found to be of major importance based on survey conducted from July 2007 to March 2008. These consist of three species of spider mites, one species of tetranychid mite, two species of mealybugs, two species of thrips, one species of scale insect and one species of lepidopteran leafminer. The farmers interviewed also consider cutworm as an important pest in seedbed and newly transplanted seedlings.
