Abstract
A Computer-Aided-Instruction (CAI) supplement was designed and developed for some topics in AMAT 156 (Numerical Analysis I). The lessons were about Orthogonal Polynomials and Numerical Integration. The CAI was implemented in Foxbase. The design used was the tutorial and drill-and-practice design. The tutorial design was used for the teaching frames which comprised the highly verbal material and tables needed by the user to better understand the topic and the drill-and-practice design consisted of the exercises.
