Abstract
Using the personalized System of Instruction, a different version of instructional material in LOGIC was designed and constructed. These modules adopted a new set of ideas on presentation. (1) This study developed an instructional material which introduced several new features, such as modified prompters (using a mascot called LOGI, carrying the 'thing' that distinguishes what section the reader's in), comic strips as examples, and neon cover page. The content also varies from that of the conventional instructional materials designed by experts in this field. It includes stories, parables, quotations, and encouraging comments to make the material more motivating and interesting to the prospective learners. Moreover, there was an added feature called ERA (Evening Review Aid), which is a cassette tape mentioning the lectures but in brief form. They were submitted to the adviser for revisions, and then finalized. The final modules were distributed to Math 101.(Logic and Set theory) Instructors for evaluation, comments, suggestions, and recommendations.
