Abstract
Scores of students on Delay Avoidance, Work Methods, Teacher Attitude, and School Attitude were gathered at the Office of Student Affairs. The grades in Botany 1, Agricultural Chemistry 11, English 1, Mathema-4cs 11, Zoology la, and the point grade average were also gathered at the Secretary's Office, Records Section. These data were fitted into the multiple regression equation of the form, Y = a + + b2X2 + b3X3 + b4X4. An analysis of variance using the grades and the point grade average as the dependent variables was done. Predicting equations were determined for each of the dependent variables.
Computations obtained high significant values for all dependent variables at 5 and 1 per cent levels of significance of the F-distribution. The following predicting equations were also obtained:
For Botany 1:
Y = 5.1535 - .00068X1 - .0273X2 + .0106X3 - .0213X4 For Agricultural Chemistry 11:
Y = 3.9403 + .0127X1 - .0128X2 + .0179X3-.0262X4
For English 1:
Y = 4.1711 + .0091X1 - .0095X2 + .0110X3 - .0261X4
For Mathematics 11: Y = 4.9614 + .0173X1 - .0316X2 + .0115X3 - .0171X4
