Abstract
This paper group Theory in Quantum Mechanics, entails the study of the relevance of group concepts in quantum mechanics. The emphasis lies in showing those aspects of the theory of groups which simplify the treatment of quantum mechanical problems, that of classifying or labelling of energy levels and in discussing qualitatively the splitting of energy levels.
