Abstract
Heat-f ixed hemocytes of female Ferrisia sp. stained with Giemsa revealed the dominant occurrence of plasmatocytes. The plasmatocytes were almost spherical, the sizes ranged from 4.66 to 7.26 microns in length and 3.93 to 6.53 microns in width. The cells' nuclei measured 1.46 to 2.40 and 1.0 to 1.73 microns in length and width, respectively. An individual female possessed on the average 58 plasmatocytes in its hemocytes.
