Abstract

The plant practice was conducted at the production division of Golden Peak Food Corporation (Dunkin’ Donuts Laguna) which is located at Ordoveza Compound, Brgy. Maitim Bay, Laguna. The training was done for a total period of 242 hours. The trainee was assigned to observe and assist in the different steps in doughnut production. She was also able to perform different tests such as the ice bath test, hand test, membrane test, crease test, test cut, and the poke test. She was tasked mostly in the finishing section which includes cold and honey dipping, fruit filling, enrobing and frosting. The trainee was also tasked to assist in cleaning and sanitation of the production plant. She gained knowledge on how the food industry runs. She was also able to show good work attitude and develop her interpersonal skills.
