Abstract

A branch and Bound Algorithm, Subgradient Optimization Method, and a Multiplier Adjustment Method was used to solve the teaching assignment problem of the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics Laboratory. The three methods were compared with respect to the efficiency of each in providing the best output for the DMAML data.
