Screening of insecticides against insect pests of sweet sorghum, Sorghum bicolor Moench.
Issue Date

Abstract
Sweet sorghum, Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench, is considered to be the most promising source of bioethanol. To manage insect pests of sorghum, ICRISAT incorporates chemical control in its IPM module. Locally, however, data on the bioefficency of FPA-registered insecticides against major pests of sweet sorghum are not yet available. it is therefore the interest of this study to evaluate different insecticide combination packages for their bioefficacy against major pests of sweet sorghum.
